These terms are short on purpose. Using Shinn means you agree to them.
Who Shinn is for
You must be 18 or over to use Shinn. By using it you confirm that you are.
What Shinn is, and is not
Shinn is an AI sounding board. It is not therapy, not medical, legal, financial or any other professional advice, and not an emergency or crisis service. Its replies are generated by a language model and can be wrong. Decisions you make are yours. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. One person per account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and that is permanent.
Your content
What you write is yours. You give us permission to store it and send it to the model so Shinn can reply, and for nothing else. We do not use it to train models and we do not sell it.
What you agree not to do
Use Shinn to plan harm to anyone, to break the law, to get at other people's data, to test or break the service, or to scrape it with scripts. Accounts that do are closed.
Beta and paid plans
Shinn is free while in beta, with limits that may change. A paid plan may open later, billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Availability
Shinn is provided as it is. We may change it, pause it or stop it. If we stop it, we will say so in advance where we can, and you can delete or export your data before then.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on what Shinn says, or for loss that comes from using it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Using Shinn after that means you accept the new terms.
