About Shinn
The name
Shinn takes two Japanese words that sound the same. 心, shin: heart, mind, soul. 新, shin: new. A sounding board for what you carry, built new.
Why it exists
Most people who are stuck do not need more advice. They need to say the thing out loud, be asked the one question they have been avoiding, and leave with one small thing to do. That used to need a good friend awake at 2 am. Shinn is built to be that, without the waitlist.
What it is built to be
Honest, not harsh. One step, not a plan. Your words stay yours. And it knows where it stops: it is not a therapist, not a crisis service, not a person.
Where it comes from
Shinn is independent, made in Dubai, and in beta. It is built by a small team who use it themselves.
